City – is the key image, putting together separate fragments of the series. Man of megapolis is against colossal greedy mechanism – all in one the instant of a researched world and homage to Gogol’s idea of little man in a big city. In this work the idea is developed to the peak : nearly to disappearing, deleting of human person. The city eats out people, along with their dreams and illusions and leaves only lost ghost, that you can hardly see. It is no coincidence that behind the back of the man on the picture there are remains of wings. Tiredness and loss – it’s all he has.
